ECLIPSE SOLAR (20- MARZO- 2015)

Durante la mañana del viernes día 20 de marzo de 2015 fue posible observar un eclipse parcial de Sol desde Covaleda, donde alcanzó una magnitud máxima aproximada del 80%

En este proceso se produjo un fenómeno donde la luz del Sol fue ocultada al interponerse un astro (en este caso la luna) entre el Sol y el observador.

El verbo. Nivel II

NIVEL II

 

LIQUID DENSITIES

This second term we are scientists and this is one of our favourite experiments: FIVE LAYER DENSITY TOWER.
Yoy can do it at home. Look it on google: Easy Kids Sciecne Experiments Density Tower

This is what you need:

• A spoon
• A glass
• Some olive oil
• Whasing up Liquid
• Some honey
• Some water
• Some food colouring
• Some milk
• A funnel

First pour some honey onto the bottom of your glass.
Next pour the washing up liquid on top of the honey.
Next pour a small amount of milk on top of the washing up liquid.
Then pour two or three drops of blue food colouring into your water and stir.
Take a funnel and put it against one side of your glass and slowly pour the blue water into the glass.
Finally add some olive oil.

This tower is possible because each layer is less dense than the one below it.
